I’m a local lad, I grew up in Croxley Green, fascinated at school by physics and the many questions it answers. Following it to university, I realised it told me nothing about relationships, and through good friends at the Christian Union, came to faith in Jesus.

I’m married, we have one adult son, I enjoy music, walking and cycling. I followed a technical career at HSE measuring airborne asbestos, then at BRE promoting energy efficiency in buildings, retiring in 2017.

After a variety of roles in various churches over the years, I sensed the Lord wanting me to get ‘out there’.I joined the chaplaincy in 2020, and it’s been humbling and rewarding to share people’s lives in the town centre. After five years as a day chaplain it's a privilege to join the trustees, looking to the Lord for his shaping of the future.
