Kevin Ambrose - Trustee
A new trustee for the Chaplaincy in 2017, I have been a member of Holy Rood RC church for 20 years, where I am a lay reader and member of the team running the church’s marriage preparation course.
Born in Kettering, after university, I trained as a town planner and worked for a number of London boroughs on regeneration schemes. Moving into a more corporate role as a policy and performance management specialist with several councils, I went freelance over 15 years ago, working for a range of local and national government bodies. For the last five years I have also been the manager of a trust based on Catholic Social Teaching which funds educational projects for the disadvantaged (such as the homeless, prisoners, trafficked women).
Outside of work, I am a Watford FC season ticket holder, and involved in various local campaigns for road safety and better public transport. I’ve been married to Jackie since 1978, with two sons and now twin grand-daughters.
